The Ticket Center is a complete ticketing and incident-handling system. In the Ticket Center, you manage the Event Tickets for your TLC environment. An Event Ticket is a work ticket for an Event in an Event-Management Database. In the properties of an Event Ticket, TLC users can:
Update the status of the ticket.
Assign the ticket to other users.
Enter notes, such as comments about the cause of an Event or any work related to the Event.
Associate related items with the ticket, such as other Events or Monitored Assets.
Associate other Event Tickets with the ticket.
Apply IP Tags to IP addresses contained in the Event's fields (see Working with IP Tags).
In a Correlation Rule with an Output response for an Event-Management Database, you can configure the Output to have TLC automatically create an Event Ticket when the rule saves an Event in the database (see Defining a Correlation Rule). At any time, you also create an Event Ticket for an Event that already exists in an Event-Management Database. To create Event Tickets manually, see:
Working with Event Tickets in the Event-Database Viewer
