Collector: Network Collector - Syslog
To configure a Cisco PIX firewall to send log messages to TLC, run the following commands at a prompt on the firewall:
enable
configure terminal
logging on
logging facility 20
logging trap informational
logging timestamp
logging host <interface> <Manager_IP>
where <interface> is the interface to which the Manager’s network is reachable, and
<Manager_IP> is the IP address or host name of the Manager that will host the Network Collector to which the firewall will send log messages.
