Collector: Network Collector - Syslog
To configure an Alcatel 7700 switch to send log messages to TLC:
| 1. | At a command line, log in to the switch with admin rights. |
| 2. | Enter: |
swlog output socket <Manager_IP>
Where <Manager_IP> is the Manager's IP address.
| 3. | To display the logging level for the switch and the output destinations for the switch's logs, enter: |
show swlog
If the command output contains the following line, the switch has been successfully configured to send log messages to the Manager:
socket ipaddr <Manager_IP>
