Requirements for your Database Software

Tripwire Log Center uses database software for both the System DatabaseInstalled on your Primary Manager, the System Database stores a record of all user logins and logouts, as well as all TLC objects defined in the TLC Console1. To install a supported version of PostgreSQL, you can either install it now manually, or you can employ the built-in PostgreSQL installer when you run the TLC Manager installer.

To install PostgreSQL manually, acquire a PostgresSQL installation download from:

https://www.postgresql.org/download/

To install PostgreSQL with the TLC Manager installer, complete the steps in Step 3. Configuring PostgreSQL for Remote Access.

To install a supported version of MySQL Server, acquire MySQL Server media or an installation download from:
