Assigning a User Account to the TLC Manager Service
To authenticate with a Windows , a Manager uses the credentials defined in the Log Source's (Working with Monitored Assets). If authentication fails, TLC then attempts to authenticate with the credentials of the service.
To assign a user account as the account for the TLC Manager service:

On the TLC Manager host system, select Start > Programs > Tripwire Log Center > Manager. |

In the side bar of the , select Service Settings. |

3.

Select Domain user account and enter the Username of the user account. |
Tips
|
If the account belongs to a domain, include the domain name.
The user account must have the authority to run services and access the certificate folder (typically, the Crypto folder).

Enter and confirm the Password for the account. |

6.

In the Status page of the TLC Manager Interface (see Table 74), click Stop. |

In the button bar, clickSave. |
|
8.
|
In the Status page, click Start. |
